For family members impacted by addiction, the idea of being able to achieve "peace of mind" sounds real good. Oh, and btw, it happens to be to net result of the family getting into "recovery." Beginning to understand concepts like "my best thinking got me here" is one of the many dynamics that might fall under the umbrella of "recovery" for family members. Al-Anon provides a good framework for getting there.
