Thank you so much for the mention, Caroline! And if any sober folks have a newsletter focused on addiction recovery and sobriety that I’ve missed in SoberStack, please let me know. So grateful for the sober and recovery community here on Substack! ❤️
Amazing! I will check this out. I love the concept of spiritual formation (I actually write about this a bit in my upcoming book - more soon) and how it relates to the recovery process. Thanks for connecting.
Thank you for the shout out, Caroline. The community building here on Substack has become such a nourishing addition to my recovery tool belt. I appreciate the light you are shining here! ✨✨🫶
Pleased to stumble upon you, Caroline! I've been writing about the intersection of creativity and recovery since 2015, but have only been on Substack since last August. Still writing about the same topics as a sidebar to memoir. You can find me at specialthememoir.substack.com
Hi Caroline! Not everything I have written in my publication is about addiction but absolutely all of it is infused with lessons from recovery. Here is my most recent post which is about Not Writing and creative flow in recovery: https://honestlywritten.substack.com/p/on-not-writing
I have loved reading and meeting many of you who focus on recovery of some sort in your writing. As a retired counselor and part-time coach now, I often write about recovery related themes, too. I love the network of people with a heart for healing and growth here. I especially love integrating brain science with faith, and I'm writing a book called Tenderly Transformed: Growing and Healing Through Turbulent Times. I recently wrote an article on the topic of suicidal thoughts and the tragic loss of lives. I have a passion to reduce the stigma for people seeking help with mental health or other areas of recovery. Thanks for what you do!

Thanks for sharing! I'm going to check this out.
I agree, Dana is doing a great job.
Yes!! Are there other writers you’ve connected with in this space?
I'm not in recovery, and just like Dana as a person. So haven't been seeking these people out.
