But first, a few housekeeping items…
Welcome, new friends! It’s so exciting to see this space growing. I’d love to meet you. Feel free to introduce yourself in the comments, send me a DM, or shoot me an email.
The circle is widening and with that, I want to bring content, resources, and other offerings that are important to you.
Let me know what’s important to you by taking a couple minutes to complete this survey here.
Now, to some other exciting news!
I’m finishing up work on my next book (what!?!?!?) and I want to include YOUR STORY!
What I’m Looking For
• Stories of loving someone through addiction or recovery
• Reflections on what’s been hard, what’s surprised you, and what you wish others understood
• Moments of hope, faith, and unexpected joy
• Honest questions and lessons learned along the way
Big or small, your experience could make a huge difference for someone else searching for answers or encouragement and…your story might end up in my next book!
Are you a loved one impacted by addiction?
Do you love someone in recovery?
I want to hear from you!
Take a few minutes to fill out this brief form to share your insights. You can also let me know here if you’d like to be a part of a series of interviews, I’ll be doing for my new book this fall. Stay tuned for more and I’m so glad you are here.
Here are a couple pics from my family, strong recovery supporters.
Other Ways to Get Involved

Together, we are stronger.
With hope,

P.S. Know someone who might like to share their story or chat with me about family recovery? Forward this article or share the link. Let’s keep widening the circle of support, one story at a time.
Hi again Caroline. I hesitated to write because my addictive behavior caused so much harm and didn't involve drugs or alcohol. It put me in prison and the consequences are still going on, even as I haven't been involved in addictive behavior for over a decade now. To this day, I am known more for my years of addictive behavior then for what I do now as a volunteer to other people in recovery from substances.
This is a phenomenal idea! I would be honored to participate with my story… my husband’s story along side mine. We quit together, but got sober alone as I like to say because no two recoveries are the same.
The more we all talk about it and bring awareness, they better all of society will become with truths and honesty. I will fill out the form as soon as I find a minute to do so! I have an alcoholism category on my page if you’d like to check it out in the meantime. I have yet to write about his sinister detox, I have started a book about that alone, but am finding it difficult. Joining your project may give me the push I need to finish it. Glad I found you on here 🖤
